Latest work by the children

Heather the Sunday School teacher brought in some wild bird seed. During the Autumn and winter months we should help out feathered friends as food becomes harder for them to find.

The Children grew some cress, they had cress sandwiches the following week.

Want a traditional church with Sunday School?

For children, religion can be daunting and a little boring. At St Matthew’s, we think we have the answer! Sunday School! every week Just after the gospel, the children go through to the hall. They stay until its time for communion, they are usually explained the gospel of the day in a way they can understand. The children like to express their answers in drawing, painting and writing. also at times during the year, the children  like to take part in a short play, sing songs and appear in the church Nativity. The more children we have the bigger and better things we can do!

Welcome to Sunday School at St Matthew’s Carver Street.
